As a part of their annual roadmap, the World Climate Foundation hosts large-scale, high-profile events like the World Climate Summit and World Biodiversity Summit during the UNFCCC COPs and Climate Action Week. These events bring together global leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to advance actionable solutions for climate and biodiversity challenges.
My Role
I spearheaded delegate recruitment and managed communications to ensure high attendance and engagement. This included:

Developing a communications strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives.

Executing multi-channel campaigns, including newsletters and email flows.

Monitoring and optimizing campaign performance through regular analysis and adjustments.
Key Focus
I prioritized concise, targeted messaging to stand out amidst the busy schedules of COP attendees. My strategy aimed to attract new delegates and re-engage those who had RSVP’d to ensure high turnout on the day.
KPIs & Results

Surpassed audience composition goals by securing local stakeholders and C-level delegates, navigating language barriers, cultural differences, and last-minute changes.

Recruited 120% of the KPI for delegates, despite logistical challenges including a last-minute venue change.
